a 16mm film written, directed, shot, produced, and edited by auteur Gregg Araki; on of the most famous films of the New Queer Cinema movement… a groundbreaking and important view on what it means to be gay and HIV positive in contemporary LA/American society. This film made him famous. If he can do this for 20 grand in the early 90’s, imagine what someone could do on video for less….? just getting inspired, that’s all.
